Welcome to Little Treasures

Little Treasures Day Nursery opened in 2006 and is part of Wheeler Primary School and the HCAT family.

The Nursery is based within Rainbow Centre and also uses the school site. We provide care for children aged 0-5 years, with children accessing day-care, 2- year-old funding and the 3 year old 30 hour funding.

We are currently rated ‘Good’ with OfSTED and strive daily to further develop our practice and provision, whilst maintaining our high standards. We work closely with the children and their families to tailor their care, learning and development to their individual needs.

Reminders

• We operate a library system within the setting, children are invited to choose a book to take home and share with their family.
• Each half term we use a new ‘stories for Talking’ book and a named child benefits from taking the story sack home each week to share with their family.
• We have a wide range of books and stories, please ask a member of staff about this! We also have some books available to buy for £1 in the entrance hall.
• We use Tapestry as a two way communication system. We will use this platform to share key dates and information regarding the nursery and we welcome photographs and stories from home.
• We provide a termly newsletter on Tapestry
