Development Plan

Little Treasures supports and promotes Continuous Professional Development, both for the setting and for the staff. Below is our Development Plan for this school year, it outlines areas of our provision and practice that we plan to develop further and improve over the coming year.

Development Plan for 2024/ 2025

  • All staff to complete INSET training day on maths
  • All staff to complete 20 hours of training (pro rata) to include Food Allergy and Intolerance training
  • Early Years Team to deliver 'Early Maths' training session to all staff 
  • New termly 'Stories for Talk' story sacks to be introduced for children to take home each week
  • All staff to attend at least 80% of monthly staff meetings 
  • Named staff members to access SENCO training 
  • Induction of maternity cover staff and full permanent replacement staff 
  • Staff to move into new rooms in September 2025, any training to be identified ASAP
  • Deputy manager to attend identified training related to new role
  • Outside area to be updated:
    • decking area to be replaced
    • all wooden outdoor structures to be repainted 
    • drywipe boards to be repaired and secured
    • outdoor sandpit to be refilled 
    • more bark to be added in mud kitchen area
